BCC Financial Services Evening Forum

ATOZ was pleased to host at their premises, the British Chamber of Commerce Financial Services Evening Forum: “Fund distribution in a digital age” on Wednesday 5 November 2014.

Consumer behaviour is changing across all market segments; from the High Street to how customers interact with financial institutions. Technology has opened up a myriad of different ways in which customers can select and buy products. As a result, the structure of industries will continue to evolve as a new generation of consumers, presenting disparate buying patterns, emerges with potentially different perspectives on and needs for investment products.

During the Evening Forum the panel considered consumer behaviour, distribution models including how retail/ institutional investors might purchase investments and manage portfolios in the future, and the use of multi-media technology.

The Programme was as follows:

  • Jim Kent, Partner, The INsiders. Welcome and moderator.

Keynote Speakers:

  • John Baker, Sales Director, Morningstar
  • David Micallef, Managing Director, The Bank of New York Mellon (Luxembourg)
  • Keith O’Donnell, Managing Partner, ATOZ Luxembourg
  • Antonio Thomas, Partner, ManagementPlus (Luxembourg)
  • Enrico Turchi, Managing Director, Pioneer Asset Management S.A.
